American Style Time/Strike Clocks

Capacity Reached

Registration for the workshop is full; please contact Eric Tibbetts at 904-314-8226 if you wish to be added to the waiting list.”

Taught by Ken De Lucca, NAWCC Education Director

-Three days of class instruction and bench activities including disassembly, reassembly, synchronizing the strike train, putting in beat & lubricating. On the last day of the class, faults will be introduced into the strike train for you to problem solve! Time permitting, clock movements will undergo either a manual or ultrasonic cleaning process. There will also be an opportunity to learn the basics of a main spring winder.

--New, fully functional India movements will be provided for your use (property of the NAWCC). You may bring your own American time/strike movement if you are sure it has no significant faults (broken main springs, bent/missing teeth, etc.). With participants bringing their own clocks, we can better review similarities and differences between the various Connecticut clock manufacturers. Please send pictures to kdelucca@nawcc.org to have your clock approved.
